Home at last
The major woke to find himself on the ground. The ground was soft and dusty, it was ash. He picked himself up off the ground. From his pocket he drew as small cloth for which he used to clean his glasses. When he returned his spectacles to his eyes he looked around. The ground was ash for as far as the eye can see. The sky was red with dark clouds and the air was hot and dry. The major already knew where he was, this was Hell and it was as beautiful as he ever hoped for. The major dusted himself off and began to wander. The place was barren he saw no one for miles and miles, his foot sinking into the ash with every step. The Major suddenly spotted a figure in the distance. He approached him, trudging thru the ash. After about an hour of walking he finally met the figure "Captain" he said. The Captain took his place by his left side and pointed over a hill. The Captain led him over the hill not speaking as usual. As they walked he spotted another figure near the base of the hill. As the approached the hill the figure soon became the undeniable shape of the Doctor. The Doctor greeted him with a salute "mein major ve have been vaiting for you" the Doctor led him up the hill with the Captain. As they reached the top of the hill The Major saw a grand spectacle. Across the valley below was his army, all waiting for him all waiting for him to give an order. His lieutenants were there as well. They all saluted him. They all greeted him humbly. Rip Van Winkle clutched her musket closer to her. "Mein Major it is good to be under your command again". The Major looked around proudly. Zorn Blitz stepped up to him and kneeled before him "mein Major please forgive me for my disobedience I failed my mission." The Major gave a small chuckle "don't vorry about it. It is all water under the bridge." The Major turned to his battalion that he commanded. Rip spoke up "Give us an order mein Major ve are at your command." The Major gave a wide grin. "Mein men let us go forth and conquer, let us have our eternal pleasure of var. gentlemen this is your order ve are to create Hell within Hell itself. Are enemy is the vast hordes of Hades himself. Ve are destined to forever defy the devil in battle. Mein eternally strong gentlemen let us have our Krieg forever.
